JUKEBOX ROCKERS
The Jukebox Rockers are a modern-day show band performing authentic vintage-age rock ‘n’ roll oldies. They are wholly dedicated to capturing the sound and energy of an era that started it all decades ago. This revival band re-creates the sound, image and personality of an iconic generation that has stood the test of time. The band takes the listener down memory lane by performing all the greatest hits from the mid 50’s and early 60’s.
The show program includes songs by legendary artists such as “Rock Around The Clock’s” Bill Haley and his Comets to hit after hit by artists such as Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Danny & The Juniors and The Ronettes just to name a few. The music matches the enriched history of those nostalgic happy days when it was sock-hops, diners, drive-ins and cruisin’ the main street in a souped up muscle car.
All members of The Jukebox Rockers are outfitted in plaid and leather, poodle skirts, pomadours and ducktails along with the era’s standard rock ‘n’ roll instrumentation: drums, bass, guitar, keys and of course that signature sound of the sax.
